- 250 g all-purpose flour
- 1½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp salt
- 115 g unsalted butter softened to room temperature
- 100 g granulated sugar
- 80 g light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs room temperature
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 180 ml buttermilk or 180 ml milk plus 1 tbsp lemon juice, rested 5 minutes
- 180 g chocolate chips plus a small handful for the top
- 1 tbsp flour for tossing the chips
